TRAVELiNG ??

K S0 .. im 32 weeks pregnant and im having my babygirl in Brazil. Some stuff happened with family over (emergency) there so we decided to move back a.s.a.p !! .. my dad already went to get everything fixed up for me, my mom and my hubby. He;s gettin the babys room ready n all .. Im just wondering.. does anyone know up ta how many weeks you can travel? my aunt tried checking and alot of places say different things.. i think i can travel up to 36 weeks without authorization from my DR. ?? but my ticket is for August 12th (its the soonest they had) and thats the day i'l be 36 weeks ? can i still travel with the authorization from my DR?? my pregnanccy it totally healthy. Everythings perfect. Until today i havent had any false labor.. no contractions .. no nothngg.. think they're gonna give me a problem about traveling???  

If your 36 weeks preggo the day you fly, I'm pretty sure they'll will have no problem, especially if you haven't had any previous problems. I'd call your airline to make sure though.

Everywhere I've read said 36 weeks, I think you'll be okay to fly.. you should ask your dr. just to be sure

I just saw a thing on the news that a woman that was 30 or 32 weeks was denied travel on a cruise even though she had a release from the dr. The travel agent told her it was fine also so she bought the ticket and was denied at the boarding gate. I would def. check with the airline you are going to be traveling with everybodys rules are different.

well i think even if i do i'll be okay? cas i got a normal pregnancy..
the prob is i only have an appt. on the 24th with my dr ..
and he is a veryyyy busy dr so if i call him to ask about this stuff so i can be sure and have everything ready for the flight and all i'll be on hold forever cas its not an *emergency* .. i hope it'll be ok cas i reallllyy have to go .. thanks gerls ..

really?? i hope that doesnt happen to me.. cas if i have the release from my dr and i already paid my ticket and all .. omgg.. i'll flip .. one because all the babys stuff will already be in brazil .. the container with all her stuff will be shiped and there before i get there.. ughh .. i donno .. hope everything works outt =/ ..

It depends on the airline. Some just have restrictions like you can't sit in the emergency exit row.

Ijust did this from Egypt to Ohio, I took EgyptAir and they needed a Dr.'s approval. Delta Airlines, our connecting flight did not.
It all depends on your airlines, call and ask. Also remember to get up and walk around the deck frequently to try to avoid blood clots in your legs.

Yeah, we traveled on May 29th and I had him June 24th. It wasn't any harder than any other flight I had ever taken either. I thought that it would be with potty breaks and all lol.

how long was your flightt?

I traveled to Costa Rica at 37 weeks, no problem. It depends on how you carry and you should have all medical records with you just in case. My doc told me to bring my shot records most of all...that was it...and I even got the ok to body surf (I did) and still went to 42 weeks and needed an induction!

ii really hope thats how its gonna be for me ! i wanna get there and still have some time before shes born to really have everything 100% ready.. hope she'll wait till her due date hehe ..
