spotting after sex (sorry if its tmi)

i dont really know for sure but is it really normal to spot after you have sex???

I guess it depends on how much you spot, and such... i know that after you have a pap it's normal to spot..because of the increased blood flow.... so i'd think it's okay after sex too...

to stop after sex???? i think you meant to spot after sex.. and yes thats normal. it doesnt always happen but its very common when it does.

It is normal.. I had it with my first baby but I was told not to have sex for a week until it stopped completely. 

I had some quick spotting after sex this morning...I'm 21 weeks and thats never happend before but as I'm reading it should be okay. Baby's moving around quite a bit and I haven't spotted at all except for when we got done having sex. I called my doc just to let them know and they asked me about movement, if I'm losing fluids at all and if there was cramping. She said they'd call me back and let me know something. Lol. I'm sure it's okay though...and I'm sure you'll be fine. As long as it doesn't keep happening and you don't have cramping or any other pain with it.

i just went to the ER last night for bleeding after sex. It wasn't just a little bleeding, it was A LOT. i went to the er and they sent me to labor and delivery since i am 29 weeks pregnant. They said all the pressure made the capillaries in my cervix burst. Even when they discharged me, i was still bleeding. They just said stay off my feet and i cant have sex unless told otherwise. If you are bleeding, you should def get checked no matter what. Thats your baby, you want to make sure everything is safe for him/her.
