helpp !!!!!

well i went for my 18th week u/s and found out i was having a boy yay lol but that im carrying to low and that the baby couldnt drop any more if it wanted to   she also said that since the baby is so low and right by my cervix that i might have to c-section when its time to give birth .....so what i want to know is if my due date will change is the want to give me that c-section and if i should worry about early birth ...help please

I'm sorry, but this doesn't really make sense to me.. Perhaps it's the pregnant brain....... I've never heard of a baby being too low...

please try one more time to explain what you were trying to tell us?

my son is VERY low like i feel like i could pop him out any time but i was never told i need a C

I think that a baby low and close to the cervix is a good thing when you are farther along, if it is feet first that would call for a c-sec, but you are only 18 weeks and it still has time for your uterus to grow and for your baby to move. and no a c-section won't change your due date unless it was for medical purposes.

You are still very early in your pregancy. Your baby has plenty of time to move up. I carried my son extremely low until I was around 24 weeks or so.

Still doesn't make sense to have a low uterus.. do you mean placenta? That can move even if it's too close to the cervix..

hmm.. well, I have never heard of that. I have only heard of a low lying placenta..

Perhaps since your dr. is concerned that you are carrying so low, she or he should put you on bed rest. This way you won't have to worry as much of having early labor. When I was 4 months with my 3rd child I was put on bed rest due to baby being really low and I was already dilated 2 cms. Hope I helped you a bit. Good luck!!
