Tylenol

Hey guys I always here tylenol is safe to take while pregnant. My doctor has even told me so, but a couple of days ago I had taken1 tablet and my baby had stopped moving like he was & it just seemed as if something was wrong! When i went to the hospital everything was okay...so two days later he was back to normal, his kicks were strong etc. Now yesterday i had takin another tylenol and today he's back to acting weird. I only felta couple of kicks today and they have been very light [not strong at all]! Is it possible the tylenol is making him sleepy or something? I just dont understand i've done nothing different in my daily routine [i can think of] except take the medicine.

Has anyone else went threw this?  

Honestly, it's most likely a co-incidence. Tylenol in small doses is safe in pregnancy, it's only a risk if you take a huge amount because of the damage it can do to the liver in large doses.

Oh okay thank you..I was just making sure, cuz i was a little confused..but your right it probably is just a coincidence.

yeah im sure your little one is fine...i have a wisdom tooth coming in and i have to take 2 tylenol like daily...my doc knows of it and everything i just refuse to take narcotics....my little guy never seems to act different tho. maybe hes used to it now im not sure lol...but im sure you'll be fine sweetie

Thank you   I just wanted to make sure. My mom said it might make him sleepy and thats why he isnt moving around as much but...who knows haha

could be..i also have had to take benadryl a few times due to allergies and a rash i had...which im pretty sure made him sleepy lol but tylenol should be okay :]

tylenol shud be fine, it doesnt affect tha baby at all!!!

Tylenol should be fine for the baby. My doctor has been making me take tylenol every 4 hours to keep down my fever and help with pain b/c I have a kidney infection. I feel bad for taking all that medicine but my baby is still alive and kicking. lol... But so long as the doctor says it's fine then you shouldn't have to worry about it. GOOD LUCK!
