fighting sleep?

Lately my little girl has had a big issue with fighting her sleep. Every time I lay her down to sleep, she kicks and punches but her eyes are shut like she's asleep. She'll do this for up to half an hour or more sometimes. She usually just ends up falling in a deep sleep after but I was just curious to see if anyone else's babies did this and if it's normal.

oh my daughter does  the same thing lol. The way she kicks and punches i might have to enroll her in kick boxing classes soon =0)
