Question???

Last week I went to the dr and they said that the baby was measuring 35 weeks instead of 34 weeks. A week biggger. So I am going to a sono Wednesday for them to measure the baby. Will they move my due date up if its the baby is bigger than its gestational age? Because I have the option to be induced at 39 weeks if I dont go into labor on my own. And that would be aug 12th if I get the due date moved up. If not it will be the 19th if they keep it the same. Just curious, anyones thoughts?

They normally wont change it for just a couple of days to a week. If it were like 2 weeks or so they might change it but for a week more than likely not.

i measured ahead... 2 weeks ahead actually... and they never did an ultrasound or moved my due date...

I dont think they do.

They wouldn't change mine. They just went my my last period and gave me my due date. Even though I knew they were wrong cause I had a very irregular cycle.

I measured 38 cm at 33 weeks ... and they're not moving my date yet.

Can I ask why you "have the option to be induced at 39 weeks"?

My son measured much bigger than what my due date said he should. They never moved the date up though. He just wound up big.

Well my life has been upside down. My husband is in a wheelchair for 6 months after an accident thathappened recentlyat his work. The factthat I am taking care of him and my2 y.o around the clockand my stress levels and the amount of weight I am lifting and uncomfortable high blood pressure. The drs rather be safe than sorry. But I mighgt go on my own b4 than we are suprised that shhe has stayed put through this last 2 months

I measured ahead, and they had me do an ultrasound and the tech said I was exactly where I was supposed to be for his gestational age and confirmed my due date. One week ahead is only like two or three cenitmeters bigger than your week, so its not that big of a deal.
