when to eat stage 2.
posted 18th Jul
Just wondering when you can feed babies stage 2 foods. Caden has had all of his stage 1 foods.. and i dont know if theres a certain age for stage 2's. He sits up when he wants to.. but doesnt often because he'd rather stand holding onto you. He doesnt crawl but he stands up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth... im telling you this because i thought i heard something about certain foods they eat when they reach certain milestones.
thanks.

There really isn't much of a difference but the size of the jar and they start mixing them. I waited unitl 7.5 months to give my son the ones with the meat. But his pedi said I could have started him sooner.

My son is on stage two and he is 6 1/2 months old. I started on them becuse he seems to do better with a thicker consistancy.

I've been womdering the same thing, I'm sure Tait gets tired of the same shit different day lol. They have lots of different things in stage 2, like mixed fruit and stuff. I'll call his dietician real quick.

My doctors nutrition list is this:
4 months: cereal and fruit in the morning
5months: cereal and fruit in the morning.....fruit and veggies at night
6months: cereal and fruit in the morning.....meat, veggies, fruit for lunch.....meat, veggies, and a starch for dinner.
Good starches are sweet potato, mash potato, or pastena
Follow all meals with formula or breastmilk.

We just started Gabriel and he is 7-months. On the jar it says 6-months and up.

I don't know about buying baby food. I like to make my own. But not everybody does, its just a personal choose.

Taits dietician said once he finished trying all the stage 1 foods I can start stage 2. So I'm sure that goes for you as well. I have quite a few containers of food left so once I finish those we can start stage 2 I'm assuming

i have noticed the only difference in stage 1 and 2 is the size of the containers. also in stage 2 they have mixed dinners and mac and cheese. I have also noticed their still just as runny as stage 1. I just put a dab of cereal in it to make it thicker
