Quick Question

So I am leaving for Orlando monday night after my Dr. Appt and our tour of our hospital. I will be in Orlando for 2 weeks.. I am 34 weeks and 5days pregnant.. I will be 35 weeks when I leave for Orlando. I will be having a c-section at 39 weeks.( so i have 4 weeks until my baby comes.) So my question to you is, do you think it will be ok to go to Orlando for two weeks, its just for my husbands business. and if i dont go then that mean I am home along with my 3 yearoldand if something happens then he will be 3 hours away. I going to ask the dr on monday but i was just curious. I am sure my appts will change from every two weeks to every one. But I can still come back for my appt if needed. what you you guys think? I've never had to worry about traveling this close to my due date. Its only 3 hours away but i was just wonder what you guys would do.

well youve been through it before..if it were me being my first time i wouldnt but your having a c-section an its only three hours. did your first have to be c-section. if so then its probably ok..

You arent supposed to travel at the end of your pregnancy but just ask your doctor. Only your doctor knows what is best for you.

if your doctors says its ok .. then i dont see why not.... have a good trip and congrats

yes i had to have one b4 because she just wouldnt move and I dialated to 6 and thats it.. So that is why i have to have one this time because they think I will have the same issue.

yea i know your not suppose and that is why i am concerned.. but i dont want to have to be here alone if something happens. I hate that he has to go but its his job.

you could. but then theres always a chance not but id go by the doctor ya never know what can happen. good luck to you though.

lol. its funny becuase with my daughter i was a day late.. and i was force to get a c-section. but i cant help to think that this little guy will be a turd and comes early just because that is what he wants..lol this is my second child so i am not sure how it will go.. my dr thinks the same as the first but hey we never know.

yea he could decide he wants out!!  my brothers were like that but i was two days late..

lol.. i guess we will see. and if he does at least i will have my girlfriend there to help along the way and be able to call my hubby while he is at work...her and my husband work together.

Funny u mentioned Orlando. I'm going there next weekend. Its only 2 hrs away for me. My doc said its ok for me to go if i'm not contracting. He said to make sure I stop regularly when driving to get up & walk around & to keep hydrated. No going to theme parks either! So you should be fine to go. If you do go in to labor on your own, usually you'll have time to get back to your hometown before it gets bad.

well you cant fly at the end of your pregnancy but travelling by car is completely ok if the Doc says so!

lol.. i've never been to orlando but I am pretty excited and worried at the same time.. do you think i should stop for a 3 hours drive. I know they say to if you are traveling a long time..I am sure my husband will stop but i dont wan to stop if i dont have too. I might just take a nap anyways..lol

I dont plan on going to theme parks maybe the pool!

yes you have to stop. I'm only driving 2 hours & my doc said I HAVE to stop!
