TTC after a miscarriage???

oK SO I had a miscarriage on june 22,2008. I dont really have anyone that I can talk to about this so i came on here for help. I have a couple of ?'s first of all, How long after are you supose to have your period? and Lets say you dont use protection right after your done bleeding from the miscarriage how soon after could you get pregnant?

Once you finsih bleeding its an average of 4-6 weeks before your period returns... you can get pregnant pretty quickly, within weeks...

Ive heard on here girls getting pregnant days after misscarriage, I guess they say your very fertile after one. Although Doctors reccommend waiting at least 3 months after a misscarriage to try to conceive again.

Yeah you can get pregnat pretty quick but I wouldn't recommend it. Waite acouple of months for your body to return to normal. I waited 6 months. My doctor recommended to waite 3 months.

I had a period about 6 weeks after my miscarriage. If you are not using protection, you can potentially get pregnant the next time you ovulate. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I have been through it so if you need someone to talk to, I'm here.

I'm sorry about your loss, I had 3 miscarriages before my son so I understand but all the info these ladies gave ya is what I was going to say. Get out of my head ladies! Yeah takea break for a few months and let your body recover and get back to normal before trying again it'll make things easier.

Your period should come withing 4-6 weeks after your hCG levels return to normal. That will depend on how far along you were when you miscarried.

You can get pregnant as soon as your beta levels return to normal and you ovulate again, however, this is highly not recommended because your uterine lining has not had time to regrow and your body is still lacking the nutrients used by your previous pregnancy.

I have posted these exact same questions so I know what you're going through! It took me 35 days to get my first period after my miscarriage (I am normally on a 28 dc so I was about a week behind schedule) and I too was wondering about getting pregnant immediately following. I thought I ovulated approximately 2 1/2 weeks after it happened and we had unprotected sex. I did not get pregnant, but it is still very likely that you could the very first time you ovulate...it's just hard to know when that will be exactly. Also, every month after my mc (it happened in april) I have been a little later than before my mc. It seems to be regulating now. I am sorry for your loss...it is a really difficult thing to go through and if you need to talk I'm here!

I got pregnant 2 months after!!

Yeah I'm due on my sister in law's birthday too, we'll see if this little one decides to get going by then. I am not gonna get induced so it will probably be overdue. Who knows?

We m/c last year in October and got pregnant in January!

I mc june 19at just five weeks. no af yet. Just waiting to ttc again. I was told to wait two cycles. so sorry for your loss. how far were you?
