re: TTC after a miscarriage???

I was 6 1/2 wks. and we havent stopped trying really like one the mc was done we were right back at it so yeah! and i havent had a period since then and the 22 will be one month!

I just recently miscarried also, May 29 is when we lost our baby. I had went in to the doctor for my 11 week check up and she could not hear a heartbeat. An ultrasound confirmed the baby had stopped developing at 51/2 weeks. We were completly devistated, having 2 healthy children this was unexpected. I had to take some pills that made me pass the baby, and I still ended up having to get a D&C due to some of the tissue not coming out. This was by far the hardest thing ever. I really have no one to talk to, so glad I came across this website, everyone here is wonderful and lots of us have all been through the same thing. My doctor told me after 2 or 3 cycles we could start to try again. Although I haven't had my first cycle yet, we are not taking any precautions to prevent another pregnancy from happening!!

waiting for 3, I completley understand what you mean about not really having anyone to talk to, it really took us by suprise to this is the hardest thing, and we havent use precautions either and i still as well not had a cycle yet.. so i dont know fingers crossed!

i had a mc in jan. i didn't want anything to do with the whole sex thing for a few weeks b/c i was hurting so bad still. My period actully went back to normal the next month. It was sorta scary how normal it went back to. I waited five months, also that is to get the due date at the right time for my business! but i wanted to get my period back on track and record when and what happend!!

My miscarriage occurred on June 11th. I bled for approximately 6 days. I had my next period on July 19th - July 21. Both of my doctors warned me that I could easily get pregnant before I had first my period after the miscarriage. However, they advised me not have unprotected sex due to the ris of infections.

Hey hunny I wanted to say I'm sorry and we r going thru the same thing... I had a miscarriage (my 2nd) on july 18th... and We havent been using protecton either and yes we r ttc... but This is our third baby that we have lost and I know its rough but keep trying hunny You'll get that lil one... If U ever need anythign or anyone to talk to Im here... Ive been thru it all w/ the miscarriage thing... And Sometimes its just good to talk with someone who is going thru it... Keep ur chin up though...

I had a m/c on June 25, 2008 and it's been a very hard, long road. We had a follow up appt with our doctor after two weeks and he told us that we were okay to start trying whenever we were ready. My doctor told me that my period should start within 4-6 weeks (it is 6 weeks today) and I still have no period or any signs of it. He told me that there is a possibility that I could get pregnant before my first period, in which case I would not have one obviously. I took a pregnancy test this morning and I had what I'm calling a "partial positive". It's really hard to explain but the vertical line on the + was only showing just the top and not the whole line....so I don't know if I'm pregnant or not. I think I am going to wait another week before I test again to make sure. I hope that everything works out for you! Please don't hesitate to PM if you have any questions or anything. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
I went through it myself just 3 weeks ago (Aug 1st) at 4w4d. I checked with my OB/GYN a couple of days after it happened and she told me everything looked normal so I could start TTC right away. My bleeding was like a late period though, I wasn't so far in the pregnancy.

Hey ladys, Okay so I know I havebt updated in a few days or so i guess it was just from the dissapointment, i took 3 tests and got 3 BFN's and then A.F. Came last friday it was the first one since the miscariage, but I am already done and We have "plans" for the night, so needless to say we havent given up and we are going to try alot in the next few weeks, i have 10 days till ovulation and counting! I am also lookin for anyways to relieve stress so if any of you have any ideas it would be a great help! Thank u all so much for your support..
