August mommy. . .first visit to the hospital unsuccessful

So i am 38 weeks. . . WOO HOO!! and i had my doctors appt yesterday. When they checked my blood pressure it was high, so they asked me to lay on my left side for a while, they came back, did it again and it had gotten higher. . . (i had thought it was high because i was so pissed about being 30 mins late to my appt because my ride left me waiting at the ferry terminal for a bit over and hour) but then my doctor came in and checked me and said i was about 3 cm dialated. . (YAY!!) So she explains to me all about pre-eclampsia and tells me to go straight to the hospital to be observed and possibly induced. so at the hospital they ask all their questions and everything and hook me up to a machine to monitor baby and me and the cuff to check my bloo pressure. . .and then it was back to laying on my left side. . .
The doctor there checked me too. . .(the hubby got a nice view of that exam and said he was a bit jealous-lol) and she was surprised to see that i was dialated, she says 2 cm. . .
After a while in the triage room they swithed me to a different room and set me up there, where they forgot to put the blood pressure cuff on me. ..
over and hour later the nurse comes back in and asked me why it wasnt on and i told her she never put it on me. . . she put it back on. . . and the thing checked my blood pressure twice.. . they said i was okay and sent me home at like 1 in the morning . . .
I don understand how they could say i was fine when they hadnt monitored my blood pressure for over an hour. . i had a feeling they were going to send me home because they were so busy last night. . . but jesus they dont even give you updates on anything.
So baby is still not here.. . im still a fat pregnant whale and i am not happy about it. . . hopefully these contractions will get stronger and more frequent and my baby girl will be here soon. . .i have 14 days left but hpefully we will be seeing he by the end of the week

Im more then sure if you talk to your doctor and tell him your uncomfortable he will induce! good luck!

I wish.. .. my doctor just isnt really like that. . . i told her about how much back pain i had and she told me to deal with it. . . 2 tylenols and a heating pad lmao. . .when i go in again ill speak to her but i dunno. . .

At least ill have a bag packed when i go next time

I have a friend who has the same doctor as me. She's due on Monday and they told her they won't induce, but they won't let her go over two weeks. So she's pretty upset. I had my 34 4 day appt today and I am measureing 35 weeks. They don't even check for dialation at my doctors until like 38-39 weeks. I'm so frusterated, I want an update or some news that there is progress or something. UGH, I'm just so upset. They're doing the strep b next appointment but that's not till August 4th. Anyone know how that feels?

I'm in my 34th week about to be 35th week and I've had blood pressure problems since about week 22. Mymidwife put me on meds and it helped up until about 3 weeks ago and it started to go back up. She upped my meds and said she will most likely induce me at 39 weeks if not sooner. I have a feeling it will be sooner because my meds take 48 hours to bring my blood pressure down to a normal level and she had upped it over a week ago and it is still high. When i woke up this morning it was 154/91, i checked it this afternoon and it was still high at 149/94.

They induced me Friday night. . . . when they released me from the hospital thursday night they told me to call my doctor if i had any headaches or throwing up. I took off from work on friday because they didnt release me from the hospital until a bit after 1 AM, By the time i got home, ate and settled in it was late and there was no way i was going to be able to get up at 7 AM to go to work. . .. Good thing i stayed home. . . Friday I had a bad headache so i took 2 tylenol and it didnt go away. . . Then while trying to eat dinner i threw it all up. . . so i called my mom. . . and then my doctor. . . she said to head straight to the hospital. . . when i got there my blood pressure was high again and the doctor said i was 3 cm compared to the 2 cm from the night before. . . my doctor said it was best to induce me because she believed i had pre eclampsia. . . and now my Izabella is here. . . 5 lbs. . . 13 oz. . . 18 inches. . .
it all worked out for the best. . . . shes sleeping. . . so i should probablly get some rest too. . .
