Most women are more likely to conceive during pregnancy weeks 1 and 2 if they have fertile cervical mucous. This results as levels of estrogen in the body rise right before ovulation. Fertile cervical mucous looks like discharge that is clear and slippery. Many women refer to this clear discharge as "Egg White" discharge. You should be able to stretch this mucous one to two inches between your fingers.
If you have clear and slippery cervical mucous, the chances you are nearing your peak fertile window are very high. Fertile cervical mucous helps transport sperm to meet the egg that releases during ovulation.

i had this yucky discharge when i was about 10 weeks or so. GOOD LUCK!!!

okay ladies i've decided to test in the morning so wish me luck! i've had some cheesy signs today so i've decided to be brave and go ahead and test....i'll POAS and then get ready to leave bright and early. i have to be at the gym at 545 to leave for a volleyball camp so if i have time i'll let you know the results! keep me in your thoughts and send me some baby dust purdy please!

Hi! Just wanted to add that it is common to get some EWCM(EGG white cervical mucous) right before AF also, I do. I get it during O and right before AF. I researched it and it is normal.

IT was negative girls...but still hoping it was early....like i said my cycle is anywhere from 21 to 32 days long so....keep your fingers crossed for me!

I have the same stuff around ovulation but a lot lot more of it when I'm preggo. Good Luck!!

Well, I can say that I have experienced the exact same thing!!! I'm on day 35 from my LMP and still nothing. On Thursday late afternoon I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I had this long string of thick boogery like mucous that was clearish/white. I have no idea what it means, but if memory serves me right I had a lot of this when I was pregnant with my son..... So lets hope!!!

No kidding, huh?!?
I had a blood test done on Wednesday and it was negative, but I had the exact same thing happen to me when I got pregnant with my son. I didnt get a positive HPT until I was 5 weeks. Which if I am pregnant, I would be 5 weeks or so this coming week, so I will have to test again tomorrow or so. It's killing me to no test again right now, but I dont have any tests here at home and I just dont want to go running to the store to go get more right now. I figure if I can manage to wait a couple more days then I am better off testing then.

if i am i'd be about 4 and a half right now and i didnt find out with my first pregnancy till 5 weeks either....so i guess i'll just have to keep waiting...not knowing is driving me nuts!

I know what you mean!!! When I was pregnant with my son I had a gut feeling I was, but after the blood test I had done with him came back negative I just had to let it go...or so I thought! LOL! Turned out my mommy's instinct was right and I had been pregnant at the time, just the test they did wasnt sensitive enough to pick the pregnancy put at that stage. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
