The pencil test!

So my friend did the old wives tale test when you take a pencil and poke a needle in the eraser and string thread through it to dangle on your wrist! Its suppose to tell you the sex and birth order of your children! So far I've never seen it wrong! Mine read my son first then this baby as a girl- and my BF's read a girl also( my son isnt his biologically) Does anyone know anything about this "test"! I know the best way to find out is a sonogram but just wanted to know if anyone else has seen this test work! Thank you!

my grandmother tried it on me she said it all ways work well it said boy and well i have made sure that its a little girl. She still swears that it will be a little boy

I tried that... it said I would have a boy after my first kid.... I'm having a girl... so it's wrong.

The thing with the dangling chain/necklace/string/etc test is that you could easily subconsciously move the string the way you want it to move. If I want a boy, it'll probably say boy and same thing with girl.

it worked with my daughter and it says this one is a boy. And I agree with it, I just have to wait for u/s to prove it.

there's a lady at the barber shop my husband goes to and she swears she's never wrong. So I let her do it to me and it got both my girls and said my 3rd would be a girl too. So she was wrong, but so was the ultrasound lol.

the funny thing is both my BF and mine read the same! I want a girl, he wants a boy! So IDK

My friends said she would have a boy, girl, boy, girl for a total of four children! So far she has a boy Tobey , and a girl Tanaya! So so far it has worked for her! And i've seen other people its worked on too! Now the ring test ( where you dangle wedding rings over your stomach? I've seen that wrong a bunch of times! IDK I too will have to wait to see!!

haha, I definitely thought when I read the topic it was the "if you put a pencil under your boob and it stays, you're too saggy." and I was like- no way anyone ACTUALLY pays attention to that? And you don't, thank god.

The ring test was right for me. Never done the pencil test.
How does it tell the birth order? Gender info, sure, but birth order?

It will swing vertically on your wrist if a boy and horizontally of a girl. It swings one way slows down and starts again when its finished it will swing in a circle! every time I've done it it shows my son ( vertically) slows down and then shows a girl ( Horizontally) which would be this baby! It doesnt just say the sex of this baby! And yes I'm sure i'm only having one this time! lol

okay I have never heard of the pencil test but I have done the needle-string and ring-hair test. Which is basically the same.

Stick string in needle and place it over your wrist or belly and it tells your children in order and gender even miscarriges and kids you may not have - like you dont want more then 3 but you could have 5

Take a piece of you hair if long enough and string it on your ring , over wrist or tummy and it does the same thing,

circles = girl
up down = boy

me and my hub have the same girl, boy, girl, boy.

i tried the ring test the way you do the pencil one and got girl, boy, boy, girl i think.

either way everything says this is a girl

Haha you'll have to let me know what your ultrasound says when you get that far along! Just so we can see! I'm going to try the hair trick you listed and I'll let you know!!
