It's completely normal for you to be a little upset that you won't be with your child for the first time. I'd be worried, too!

& as for the schedule and rules, I suggest you do it. If your grandma or sister gets him off schedule then it won't be fun for you when he comes home, he could be cranky and not cooperative!

My son is with me 24-7 and last night we had to leavehim with my boyfriends sister and it was only therefor a few hours but I was freaking out.As much as I want a break it just doesnt feel right not having him around lol. I'm terrible when it comes to feedings I dont like it if someone doesnt make the bottle the way I do so I dont let anyone make bottles I hate it when someone put the powder in first. Also I'm a freak about the way his diaper is on cuz if its too loose he pees all over the place I'm horrible lol. I basically told her what to do ya know like how I like to do things. If he ever stayed somewhere over night I think I would make a list or tell them how his routine goes and to keep him on that schedule. We called his sister like 3-4 times last night to make sure everything was ok. I also packed extra clothes, toys, blankie, tylenol and teething stuff cuz hes teething stuff like that. I think if you just pack the basics he should be fine hes only gonna be gone for a night so you dont really need to go crazy with what you pack.

ha this is what i have packed already..
5 outfits
5 pre measured formula bottles( she puts WAYYY to much fourmula in them when she makes them)
1 can of extra formula.. just in case
10 diapers
3 packs of fruit and his spoon
cereal
toys
whipeys
and his medicines

the instructions and all that is 3 pages long.... i kno that when i give her hte lst shes gonna freak out on me and just not read it....
its more like a guidline on what to do IF ya know........
like directions on makein his bottle and medicines and what NOT to feed him( since she thinks its fine to give a 4 month old just anything off of her plate thats not hard..... we had an incident with grits last week)
and just a breif explantion of bed time, nap times and feeding times....

is that to much or does he need more stuff???
i didnt let my 3 year old stay with anyone over night untill she was 8 months old so all this is quite new...

Thats sounds good to me. She shouldnt get mad its your son its not that you dont trust her you just want things to be done the way its always done so he stays on the schedule and how things go so it doesnt mess him up. I dont think I could let my son who is also 4 months old stay somewhere over night just yet a few hours was enough for me and tonight I'm gonna be away from him for 5 hours I'm NOT looking forward to it.
