My Doctor explained recently that this is the case with some women and they actually pee from inside their vagina but in other women the urethra is located outside of the vagina. It is nothing to be concerned about.

She still had a urethral opening but the catheterisation was possible through vagina, on upper wall of the vagina is an opening representing the actual urethral hole
