I honestly didn't read it all, but I got the idea from your insight C. And I must say I agree. I think it's ridiculous that someone who smokes marijuana, or grows it, or whatever with it can potentially (and many times does) goes to jail for much longer than someone who has murdered another human being. To me, any type of drug related prison sentence should pale in comparison to one for the latter. The only exception would be a murder which was drug related. It just proves how backwards some things truly are, and this is truly one of the most overlooked social injustices of our time.

I personally don't believe that marijuana should be legal, but I don't believe that marijuana is so horrible that someone caught with it should be locked up until they basically just die.

I coudn't read it all (to confess, my attention span isn't that long  )

but those stories are really, really sad. Just more examples of the injustice that makes up a lot of loopholes in the American Judicial System.

I hope you know that your first reply was pointless and irrelevant. It had nothing to do with the topic, which you clearly have no idea about...since it was too much "crap" for you to read. Just because YOU didn't read it doesn't mean no one else will.

She racked up most of those posts while being a mod. She is one the major contributors to Baby-Gaga and is one of the last people you would want to mouth off too b/c she will leave you looking and feeling stupid. God is the queen of debating and putting n00bs in their place.

Just prooves the government is not interested in finding the true criminal (because to bring down the real druglords would take away too much money from slimey corupt hands) but instead anyone they think they can manipulate and make a easy case against.

Marijuana is legal in some states for medical purposes but they are sentacing people to life for it in others......

I just... I don't even know. I don't even agree that it should be illegal (did I need to say that? heh) but if it is, at least have reasonable sentences across the board.

But ANYWAY...

I think it's fucking ridiculous that people are punished at all for smoking a plant. They aren't hurting anyone, or themselves, really..minus lung damage. (But what doesn't damage lungs? Even oxygen is poisonous.) In my opinion, it's the safest "drug" out there...safer than Tylenol or Ibuprofen or any other OTC medications.

The fact that it's illegal is beyond me. It makes absolutely no sense.
