greasy food is bad in general. it's not good for you so that would make it even worse for a growing and developing fetus. healthy foods - vegetables, fruit, pasta, meat, chicken, bread.....

If its bad for you its bad for the baby. My doctor told me to throw nutrition out the window and only eat what I could keep down...I quickly got a new doctor.

no seafood/fish, or atleast limited... mercury in seafood/fish can cause problems for you and for baby.
check out the national food guide, plus on babycenter.com they have suggestions for proper nutrition when pregnant

Good for you getting a new doc!! Did a NHCP doc happen to tell you that? If so, which one so I can avoid him!!

actually it says that in "What to Expect when you're Expecting" too. I think they say that so that in the beginning you can make sure you're eating enough for the baby. cuz if you throw up everything you eat, you're not getting anything. then later when the sickness goes away,(if it ever does)try to eat only the healthy stuff. But I don't think he's a bad doctor for saying that. JMO of course.
