Heh, I was actually going to post about this doll this morning, but didn't have the time. Glad to see you did though.

Personally I see no problem with Barbie/Mattel manufactoring the Black Canary doll, because that is exactly what this is- the Black Canary doll, not S&M Barbie.

It appears to be just one more of their comic book collector dolls, so I see nothing wrong with it. I happen to have the Harley Quinn one, and enjoy the DC line of Mattel dolls. Because again, they are just that- Mattels line of DC Comics dolls.

I figure it's pretty cut and dry.. You think it's filth? Don't buy it for your kid then.. See how easy that was? I swurr..

Maybe they're worried the Barbie fairy will make a visit, heh.

Revise: They took it off the shelf. I know at first it was because there wasn't a wedding ring, now I think it's because it's just strange.

I think its not very tasteful, however, no one is going to force me to buy one....likewise, other parents wont have a gun to their head to buy one either. If parents dont like it, they dont have to buy it.....
