Yes, another one of these ?'s...

So I know there's a million posts about "pressure down there" but this is my situation and they're always different. I tried looking for an answer.... so here ya go! When I was 34 weeks I was feeling alot of pressure down there from moving in bed to walking to even sitting down, it hurt so bad and wouldn't go away. Well I ended up going to L&D and they said I have pre-term labor. On to my reasons of this is that I'm feeling those same pressure pains down there and I'm 39 weeks as of today. The last time I got checked was 3 days ago and the dr stripped my membranes for the 2nd time (last week also) and he told me I was 2 cm. Also, I lost my mucous plug about 2 weeks ago. Is this a sign to go in to L&D to get checked? I dont want to have to go in and look stupid for nothing like I have in the past. I haven't had any sign of bloody show yet. And I'm also feeling like a pinching feeling that lasts not more than 5 seconds and was wondering what is that feeling from?

When you have consistent contractions either five minutes apart or strong enough that you have to breathe through them is a good time to head to the hospital... you can at least call your doc and see what he/she says...

Since your full term i say just wait and see what happens

I feel really dumb saying this but I don't even feel when I have my contractions at all   when I would go to get my NST, they would show up and I was like   didnt even feel em' at all...

I think you should go With my first child I lost my plug about a wk before I went into labor. The worse they can do is send you home. But if your 4cm now they're required to keep you. It's better to know than to stay at home streesing over it.

If you cant feel them i wouldnt be too worried but im not a dr and every woman is different so if you are worried give your OB a ring

If you dont feel 'em you're not in labor lol

At least in labor enough the hospital would keep you.

That happen to me too. (My 1st) I had no idea i was in labor all i knew was that I felt as if I had to go to the bathroom really bad but nothing would come out. After 3 hrs of doing that my grandma called 911 (with out me knowing) So I had to fake like i was in pain just to see the doctor come to find out I was 6cm and contracting every 2 mins had no feeling of them what so ever.

That's what I'm really worried about... the fact that I dont know what's going on down there. I'm already a 2 and hopefully the next time I go in I will be enough to be not sent home so we'll see
