sunscreen bottles all say 6mos and up... so its probably safest to wit til 6 months. but theres definetly been people to bring their babies to pools and beaches etc as early as like 2 weeks or sooner even. just depends on what u are comfortable with. also ask your pediatrician

i got infant sunscreen at a baby shower... but as to actual advice, i'm not sure what to say... if you bring her to the beach or somewhere sunny, it's probably not a good idea for her to be in the sun a long time.

babies can't go in the sun unless they're 6 months and older. Even at 6 months they can only be in the sun for as long as 1/2 an hour. so i say no. just giver her a cool bath and wait, it'll be worth your baby's health.

I put Ella in the pool when she was a little under 4 months. I dont know about the beach though.

They say babies shouldnt wear sunscreen until theyre 6 months, but my pedi said that Banana Boat was safe for her.

ETA: I always have a hat and sunglasses and umbrella/canopy float for her too. Be very careful of the sun. Babies can get burnt even in overcast conditions.
