Just a thought....

I love BG! I wake up in the morning and I am probably a bit too excited to see what went on while I slept lol. I only say this as a concerned BG addict but I wish there was a limit on the amount of topics a person can make per day. I feel like being a valuable BG member you not only make a few topics but you answer others in return. Most of the time when people make a dozen topics per day they are spamming, causing drama, or their millions of questions could've been solved with a quick and easy topic search. Do excessive topics really slow down the server? I am not sure if others feel the same way but some members go overboard with starting of topics. Once their current topic no longer has new replies they have to post another topic letting us know of their trip to the fridge to grab a sprite. (might be a bit dramatic but you get the picture) I am sure there are other members who feel the same way I do.

I feel ya... I get tired of people posting the same thread 12 times... it's annoying... But I don't think they are going to be able to do that... I love to post whenever... I'm on alot also and I just love to post! Although I don't usually start threads too often...

Interesting! I don't have a lot of people in my tank so I don't see a stream of one topic after another from the same person like some others might. Either that, or I just don't pay close enough attention to all of them. I try to keep up, but I have to give up at the end of the day too, maybe that is what you are talking about specifically. I agree, it might be something to consider.

I personally think 5 tops. If you have more then 5 questions you should have to use to search engine or wait until the next day. Maybe then people will think twice before posting nonsense!

I agree with 5 being tops. I think that is a reasonable amount. It probably will prompt people to use the search engine more before posting.
