smokers

does anyone live with smokers? my mom started smoking again a bit after dad went away because of the stress. i told her i wish shed quit because its not good foer her and because im prego but she wont. She doesnt do it in the same room as me but its still in the same house an it makes me uncomftable. im not sure what to do or say to her because its her house an i have to live there but i dont wanna be around her smoke.

My mom smokes. I don't mind her smoking around me....I think it's just cause she's done it all my life I don't notice. I told her after the baby is born as long as she's not right there in her face smoking I'll be fine. But I'm not going to tell my mother "Hey, you need to leave your own house to go smoke". I turned out fine and that's because she didn't get around me much with a cigarette.

By the way, I just noticed, we're due the same time.

my mom smoked in the house while I was pregnant  
she goes outside now, but once in a while she will smoke in the basement!
it pisses me off becuase she says the smoke isn't coming up here but I can definitely smell it.
I've started smoking again but I go outside.. even if it's raining,..

my bf smoked around me my enitre pregnancy.

but you are right. its her house. just go outside when she smokes i guess.
i mean it isn't easy to quit my any means [im more than positive i wont be able to quit again until i have another pregnancy]
she can say she will quit all she wants, but it is very hard to do.

My husband smokes. He will smoke in the bathroom on the toilet and it drives me crazy because i can smell it and it gets into my towel. But he usually goes out on the balcony or up in the attic then I am ok.I used to smoke and he always blamed his smoking on me the fact that I didn't quit kept him smoking then last year in Oct I got pneumonia and I quit. So now he can't use me as his excuse. I fear that once this baby comes that I will want tosmoke because I see the cigarettes laying around or get stressed and be like What the hell.

god i would yell at my bf every day not to smoke inside while i was pregnant.. he NEVER listened to me. he thought he could light up a cig. while iw as sleeping in our room and i wouldn't notice.. right.
but if he ever even thought about smoking inside now i would punch him in the nose lol. my baby doesn't want asmatha. he told me so. =] haha

my boyfriend smokes..
he used to smoke outside but now he goes in the other room!
im okay with that becuase i spend most my time in our living rooom anyway so if hes in a different room and i cant smell it then im alright with it!
he goes outside at night usually when its cooler outside!\

i was a smoker before i got pregnant.. so even if it is around me i dont get bothered by it to much if i feel its enough then i just leave the room or whatever./.. my boyfriend trys not to smoke around me though .. but he has the entire time so theres no point in trying to stop being around me when hes doing it now.

when i got to my parent's house they only smoke outside. As for my bf and me, we both quit as soon as we found out I was preggo.
