posted 17th Jul
i went to my PP appt. today and come to find out birth control pills are rarey covered by insurance anymore... what the hell... my doctor told me that a month it can cost up to $50 who can afford that kinda crap, on the other hand it's cheaper then having another baby. is there any other type of birth control covered by insurence i have blue cross blue shield of ohio... i know it just depends on the plan you have but it's just an idea of what i have...

I dont know if you anything about natural birth control but its worth taking a look at I used the book taking control of your fertility ( you can use it to get pregnant or to not! ) its not hard to do it just takes a little practice

i dont know, never heard of your type of insurance, but i was on the mirena, the risks are really low, but i wasone of those people that had to get it removed, it caused an infection in my cervix and i bled for 2 months straight after bleeding for 1 month after birth... so i dunno... my doctor wanted me to get back on it because like i said the risks of anything are really low, but i just happened to be one of those people, i am on the shot now, and hate it, i feel sick all the time.
I cant take pills, they had me on four different kinds and everyone gave me migranes like everyday and i would throw up.

so i dont know how to help anyone with bc when none of them work for me lol

Try going to Planned Parenthood. I used to be on a plan that because of my income level I didn't have to pay for BC pills even with my insurance. If your income is low enough it might work for you.

i don't even have a clue where we have a planned parenthood around here, i'll search online i got to call the insurance place to see what are my other options if i don't take the pills, i think i'll just have to suck it up and pay it because there is no way i can pay like 600-800 for a IUD
