3 Years!

Yesterday was our three year wedding anniversary!!! We got all dressed up, went out to dinner at our favorite restaraunt The Oven (it's Indian food, yum!!), I had my first beer since I found out I was pregnant (lol), and got coffee afterwards at my favorite coffee shop! It was sooo great! I also got beautiful flowers, lilies and irises, and he bought me a gift certificate to a spa to get a 50 minute massage!!! And he told me he wasn't getting me anything so I shouldn't get him anything! So I didn't....oops! ;)

We also left our son for the first time.....my little sister (she is 21 and a pretty big drama queen) shows up on the phone, crying and arguing with her boyfriend! She was on the phone for like 20 minutes while we just sat there waiting to leave. Annoying....I had told my older sister (she's 26 with two kids) that she could come over to help since my little sister snce she had never watched him before....so she ended up coming over with her 7 month old to help....I felt sooo uncomfortable leaving my son with my sister who was freaking out at her bf. But once my other sister was there, I felt better. So at first at dinner, I was a little worried but then I was ok....once I started drinking that beer, lol!
Anyways, was just excited to start another year with my wonderful husband and I wanted to share! This past year has been amazing! I graduated in December, husband got a huge raise at work, we got pregnant and had out little baby....life is wonderful! We are so blessed! Thanks for letting me share

Congrats! I can't believe it's been three years already! I feel like we were just planning our wedding! I'm sure you feel the same way! Time flies!

I LOVE reading posts like this. I feel so bad when I start reading stories about how their husbands or boyfriends are jerks. Thank GOD there are good husbands out there like yours! Happy Anniversary. My husband's 28th birthday is today. I'm ready for him to get home already so we can celebrate.

I love birthdays and anniversaries! It's fun to celebrate with people you love   And yes, I am very lucky! However, I tried to make good decisions and not just settle for anyone. Not saying I didn't date jerks, I just chose not to settle down with them, lol. I am very lucky though, his parents raised him to be a wonderful man and I'm very lucky and greatful for that!

awwwww, i'm so glad you had a nice night out. yay! and yay for getting to drink a beer after such a long time--relaxed ya, didn't it?   i'm happy for you.

congratulations mama! oh, and i'm glad your older sister came over. i'd be freaking out if i had planned on leaving my little girl somewhere and then my sister started wigging out. nope, would have been problematic for me. glad it all worked out in your favor!
