It's genetics...you will get them or you won't. Nothing you can do to stop it. Wish there was something though...lol

i've heard it is hereditary.... so more about genetics than creams/lotions.

Nothing you can do. If you are going to get them, you are gonig to get them. You can try the creams (I use cocoa butter), and those are supposed to help, but if you are destined for them, you will get them. Sorry.

if you didnt want stretch marks you shouldnt have gotten pregnant. You're either going to get them or you won't. It's just how it goes. Nothing you can do is going to prevent them.

If there was a way to avoid them, nobody would have any.

Youre going to get them if youre genetically predisposed to them. Ask your mom if she got any with pregnancy. That will be your best indicator. My mom never did and so far, neither have I at 30 weeks.

Stretchmarks will be the last thing on your mind once you start getting sore feet, a sore back, constipation etc etc. Plus, they eventually fade and it's not like they're hard to hide.

I didn't say you shouldn't of gotten pregnant. I was just saying what I thought. I've got tonnes of scars from old stretch marks and you can't even see them now. I've never put anything on my skin to prevent them, I just figure that they'll fade. There's no way you can prevent them, but there are things you can do to minimise how many you get. Just keep moisturizing and you should be okay.
