stomach very sensitive to touch

I can't believe it's only been 3 weeks pp ... seems like eternity. I had a c-section 3 weeks ago and the incision is healing nicely but my stomach around the belly button area is extremely sensitive to the touch. Does anyone else feel this after a c-section. It really bothers me even when I wear underwear or clothing touches it. It's not anywhere near the incision is the strange part.

never had c-section I believe that it takes about 6 months for it to fully heal.

It's normal because if you think about it they were scooching things around in there. THe fact that the pain isn't around the incision is because it's probably still numb to. I have mine over a year ago now and I still have some spots that are numb.

i'm 3 wks PP too!! i know exactly what you're talking about. Right under my belly button its really sensitive to the touch. I always wondered why since its not like thats where they cut me at. Hmm... weird? My guess is maybe thats where the uterus abdominal muscles were cut and sewn back together? i have no clue lol.. but i know what you're talking about.

Yes. Its been about 12 weeks since my c-sec. and mines still tender to the touch. Be careful it's still sensitive. We had MAJOR surgery-you know? I have to constantly remind my husband to take it easy with the rough-housing lol
