D&C check up... no fetal pole?

today i went to my post D&C check up and he was reading to me the list of things that were taken out, like placenta stuff, my tissue blah blah...

but said there was no fetal pole, no fetal tissue. he acted like it was no big deal too.. i dont get it

whats the deal. 2 days before hand i saw the ultrasound and the fetus was over 8 weeks. did it just like dissolve or something? i dont get it

i hear u can lose it in blood clots or something, but i had NO clots, and didnt really bleed that much...

whatss the dealio?? any one know?

abouta week before my baby died, I had two pieces of blood in my urine. not clots. Pieces. One looked as if it could have been the fetal pole or ambilicle cord, and the other seemed to be about the size of the second yok sac. Im not sure what it was. When I saw that, I knew it was bad and freaked out. The next day my dr said the bby was perfectly fine, but a week later I was having a d&c due to a missed miscarriage. So perhaps you just didnt seeit? Im not sure. Your first af though will be very heavy and will probably be purged then if it hasnt already...

Im really sorry though that you have had to go through this. My heart is still so raw thoughit has only been 2 months for me. I dont know if its something we can ever heal though. Just keep trying hun

The way they explained it to me is that your body mushes it up.  Sorry thats the word they told me.  It's so weird to cause I saw my ultrasound and my baby was right there swimming around and there was a heart beat.  I'm sorry for your loss sweetie I know its hard and something you will never get over.  God Bless you!
