So..when did you all start dialating before you went into labor? Like, how many days or weeks did you stay dialated before you popped?!! Me and one of my friends have the same duedate (july 29th) and she's dialted already. And i'm not!! I don't want to be late

I was 3 cm for like 2-3 weeks. But with no contractions.

I was dilated to a 2 for about a week before I went into labor, but every woman is different. I have a friend who walked around 4 cm dilated for almost a month before she had her son, but when her water broke BAM that baby came fast! She hardly made it to the hospital.
Other women go into labor not dilated at all and still have an easy quick birth... so just being dilated isnt neccessarily an indication of when your labor will start.

i wouldn't worry..she could stay that way for weeks and you suddenly go into labor tonight..i stayed dilated 3 for weeks w/ my last baby...dilating is not a for sure factor that u are going into labor right away.

i tsarted dialated at 24 weeks and went into labor at 32 weeks

yes im schelduled to be induced 530 on sunday but the back pains and cramping ive been having today i hope she comes before then!!
