Quoting Jessie bear:“ If you are planning on adding new carpet I would change that plan and go for a different flooring option. ... [snip!] ... fiber carpet such as wool, in a neutral color that will still work as your baby grows. Enjoy - nursery decorating is such fun!”Well, I have had carpet my whole life, as has my daughter & I haven't had any problems yet. I don't want a hard floor in my childs room, because if he is as clumsy as my daughter I am going to be in for alot of "ouchies".
Quoting jnazmom:“ You could always divide the room with a chair rail and do a water blue on the bottom and a cream on top. ... [snip!] ... can always get a cute throw rug for the middle of the room to break up the monotony of it.Good luck- the bedding is adorable!”The wall idea is adorable! I would've never thought of doing something like that~ I was a little hesitant to do green because my daughter's room is green & pink~ I don't liek to have my rooms the same color~ so I will definately suggest that to DH
Quoting jnazmom:“ I'm the same way- I always had white walls growing up so my kids rooms are decked out! ”lol~ we had paneling lol~ we let our daughter pick out her paint & carpet for her room~ I told her the "water" idea & she was like yea let's do that~ I get to help paint! Then she kept adding ideas~ you can put frogs in the water too, cuz they are in the water (we have a pond) So that's sounding like what we are planning on so far~ that opens alot more options for carpet color as well. (since I'm not restricted to green.
Quoting jnazmom:“ She sounds like a doll - it has to be nice that she's so excited about having another baby around.”I'm glad too~ She's 7 so she's been the baby for quite some time~ but I try to include her in everything, so she knows she won't be left out.
