membranes stripped and stuff

had my membranes stripped this morning and i was 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. ive been having regular tightenings for the last couple of hours. theyre not exactly painful but two of them were. do you think it could happen soon?

Time the tightenings. If they are coming every 5-7 minutes it's time to call the doctor.

not ness. i was dialated at a 4 and 80% from 33 weeks on. had my membranes stripped at 37 and 38 weeks. i was induced at 39. i would have the whole "contraction" thing also.

Then I started to realize it was contractions.

Quoting Laurensc:“ yeah i know im just so fed up lol im a week overdue now feels like this boy of ours is nver going to make an appearence”realy is no way to tell, sometimes works sometimes not, if your body IS ready for labor, then it will push you in. it can be up to a couple days, so just see if those contractions are coming avery 5-7 minutes apart and even if they dont begin to hurt bad, call the doc if they are at that point. blessings

I had Ayden four days after my membranes were stripped so hopefullysomething will happensoon.
