Worried..

HEy .. I havent been on here in forever.. But I had my baby Connor Mason 11-20-07.. I just recently got married to his father.. And maybe excepting again.. I have IUD paragraud.. I had my period last month for only like 2 days and 1 day this month!! (both months spotting).. I was worndering if anyone has or had the paragraud IUD & if they have got pregnant or have had the same problem as me.. Laken

first of all congrats. Second it is possible to get pregnant on the iud but very unlikely. Its normal to get lighter or no periods at all with the iud. Good luck.

I highly doubt you are pregnant again because if you do happen to get a fertalized egg, paraguard prevents it from implanting to the uterine wall. After having an IUD for 6 months or so it's normal for you to either only spot or stop getting periods alltogether.

Ihave actually known of someone getting pregnant while they had their IUD, but it is VERY unlikely.
