Full moon=labor??

posted 16th Jul
How many of you believe in this? I have had my family making bets on when I am going to have my baby. They have been saying since last month I was going to have her, well since they lost the bet, they are now saying its going to be on the full moon. I am beginning to think they are nuts... what do you think?

I've heard from some nurses last time I was up in L&D most of their deliveries happen during holidays and full moons, so I'm guessing it is true.

They actually did a study on the full moon thing. Turns out, people just have a tendency to remember more things happening (ER going nutts, women going into labor) than on any other day of the month. So you tech don't have any higher chance...who knows??

i duno...weird things happen on full moons lol
my grandpa has twice as many seizures (he has epilepsy) when the moon is full..
and the expression "the crazies come out" on a full moon, is true too lol sooo who knows the pull from the moon probably can put women into labor..

good luck!

The full moon is suppose to be an influence on it. But really the baby will come when it's ready to. They said the same with me. And I was terrified to death that I was going to go into labor thanksgiving day. My due date was 7 days after that. But I didn't. Might sound silly but I sat down and talked to my little girl the day before her due date, because I was exhausted and ready to have her and hold her in my arms, not belly. And the next day I had her. hehe

You should make a baby pool for them to make their bets. I love mine. Try www.expectnet.com It's a lot of fun.
