alright so hes 16 pounds 5 ounces.. 25 1/2 inches long. his cardiologist up'd his dose of propanalol.i told him about the rash and he agreed we can try to change his formula. i mentioned breast feeding and he said it was fine and so im gonna try to get my supply back.. YAY ME... anywho.. can i use fenugreek and mothersmilk tea together?.anyways anyone go 7 months w/o BF and be succesful in getting your supply back?

waiittt so if you havent breast fed in 7 months then u dont have a supply anymore. Unless you were pumping?

there is a way to get your supply back, and i have a very little supply, i couldn't BG becaue he had to be a special formula because of all his stuff going on but now there saying i can.

After 7 months, you can get your supply back, but it is going to take a lot of work and dedication. I would love to BF again, but my schedule won't allow. Good luck! I would like to know if it works out for you, so keep us updated!

just keep trying to latch him mama, your supply will come back!!! as i have mentioned before, if women can bf adopted children, you will be able to bf him at least part time   some is better than none!!! and YAY for being 16 lbs! why did the dr up his meds? and i think you can do fenugreek and mothers milk tea together, i dont see why not. the dr. said those were ok to take with his heart problems then? but definitly latching him on and getting him to suckle will get your milk flowing again!! just takes time and work and dedication like shasue said. good luck, i want you to be able to do this!!  

i will def!.. i could use somethign to keep me busy lol, im a SAHM who's used to being Active duty navy so all this time off is driving me NUTS

I hope this helps I never had a true supply to begin with. I had my son @ 24 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia and HELLP. I pumped on a strict schedule but it just kept dwindling. It took me about 2 months for my blood work to get back to normal though the LC said my body was more concerned with getting my blood back to normal than producing milk. Anyways, my OB said it was fine to drink the tea and use the Fenugreek together. I tried both as well. Your doctor can also prescribe Reglan at the proper dose it can help boost your supply. I tried it to I think it was either a 1 or 2 week course. It did help a little but I was still getting soo little it was discouraging so I had to regretfully give up. I hope you have better results.

I stopped breastfeeding after a couple weeksand breasts were STILL leaking almost a year later. Even men can produce milk although it would probably freak me out a little bit lol

i can't use relgan because i have a history of seizures.. but thank you for the info about both of them together, i have a feelikng my son will be on formula pats the time he is a year old.

Dont give up. You can do it just keep at it. I hope all gets better soon.
