almost 20 weeks

So i got one of those heart listener things for the baby and i cant hear it and someone said they could hear there baby heart beat and she is 16 weeks. So im wondering if something is wrong with the baby?

I bought one at 20weeks and couldn't hear anything til about 3weeks ago.. (im now 28weeks) i think it can all depend on where the baby is led ect.in my experience theyre not reliable..if your worried though call ur midwife

With my first daughter I got one and i never heard crap through my whole pregnancy. They are mostly fun...I wouldn't rely on them!!! I am sure your baby is fine...as long as you feel her moving.

i got one at 20 weeks from walmart and had to wait to listen to baby heart at around third trimester..... i dont think you can hear it that early cause its still small

I've heard that sometimes they don't work as well or arn't as sensitive as the ones used at the drs office.

Mine didnt work till 25 weeks.

yeah i got one too and i can't hear the heartbeat.....but i feel the baby moving....but i can hear the baby kick.....the only reason i got it was because my hubby can't ever make it to the doctors appointments cuz of work so.....

A higher tech one, but much more expensive would probably pick up the heartrate. It could be a few different things. Baby positioning and placenta placement are a couple of big ones!

Well i didnt feel the baby move for like a week and then 2 days ago i was laying in bed and the baby started moving.   i was happy when i felt it moving but it doesnt move much anymore like it use to at 14 weeks. I got the heart thing at walmart too and it said in the book you cant hear anything until the 3rd trimester so when that girl told me she heard it i was like what!!!! no way? and me and her have the same one too.

I didnt know they sold those. Where can you get one and how much do they cost?

Yeah thats the same reason i got it because my boyfriend hasnt made it to any of my doctors appointment because of work. One time he almost made it but it start rainning BAD and he got stuck at his uncles house. So i bought it and we tried listening to it but all u could heart was things going on in my stomach.

Walmart and babiesrus they are only like $19 but not very accurate
