My friend is having her soon to be bil walk her down. Her dad died of cancer.

I think the person walking you down the isle is someone who is suppose to be giving you away. I would have someone who means alot to you.

Yeah it was awesome! I went to Jordan for my wedding. Everyone comes on the stage to give you boxes of candy and say congrats, than you throw the candy into the crowd

My father was abusive. I did not want him to walk me down the isle. My husband lined up at the front of the Church with the groomsmen. I stood at the back. My husband walked down the isle and got me. We walked up together. It was beautiful.

f it's pretty traditional otehriwse, I don't think I'd have the groom and yourself walk down together, although the him coming back to get you would be cool... otherwise I'd say your brother next....... your best guy friend giving you away might seem kinda weird to some people and be a bit awkward for the groom seeing as you two are so close. JMO

My SIL's dad didn't approve of her marrying my brother, so while he was at the wedding, he refused to walk her down the aisle. So, she had her brother walk her down.

I'd suggest either that or walking down alone.

I might swoop in like batman.....I have seriously thought about how I would do it in a gown. I want to have fun, the way I look at it is so far I havent been very traditional or normal so why should my wedding be any different?
