Shelby update!

So for everyone following us! Shelby is doing good again! She started feedings again last night 3ml every 3 hrs, it is a special formula called Ellacare (it's partially digested so her intestines dont have to work so hard). She is off oxygen, they say once she starts eating more it is possile she will need it again. She still has a NG tube (goes up her nose, down her throat and into her stomach). She also has a central line through her hand, up her arm and into her heart! They have the central line cause as of right now what she is eating is not enough, so she is getting her nutrients through IV! Thank you to all who are or have prayed please keep them coming! We are not completely out of the woods yet, but getting there!

That is very relieving to hear. I have been thinking about her the last couple of days and wondering what is going on, so thank you for updating us. NEC can be awful, but she is one of the lucky little survivors.  She is beautiful by the way.

Thanks everyone! She is back on oxygen as of now. But still doing pretty good. She is one strong little fighter! I cannot believe she is already 2 weeks old, I just want her to get better and come home!

Angelina actually had to go back on a CPAP with her bought with NEC. Its normal I heard. She will be home soon. Hang in there.

By the way, I love the name Shelby, its also my neice's name.
