miscarriage and period. im confused

ihad my miscarriage on June 16; I was 8 weeks along. July 9th I tooka pregnancy test and it was negative. It's been four weeks and I haven't got my period. When should I be getting it? I shouldn't be pregnant again right since the test was negative.

Im sorry for your loss. It could take a while for your cycle to regulate itself again. Have you had unprotected sex since the miscarriage? If so I'd wait a few more days and test again. If you don't get your preiod in a few weeks go to the dr and they can give you pill to jumpstart your cycle again.

it could take 6 wks or more before you will get your period. If you have an idea of when you might have ovulated, if you even ovulated, that would help you. If you happen to have ovulated late say around day 18 or so, then it would be too soon to test. If you havn't ovulated, you can't be pregnant.

Well first I'd like to say sorry for your lost I know how it feels..secondly..it usually takes a month for your body to actually get back normal.. it took me a month and 2 wks for everything to get back normal

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and also had to be put on bc to regulate my period when it wouldn't start.

umm yeah if you had unprotected sex since then you could be. I got pregnant a month after I M/C. My first test was negative and then a few days later I got a positve.

hi, im hoping im not miscarrying but i was positive all last week, bled for a day then the blood test at the hospital said negative. I had no pain though????

when i had my MC i didn't have any pain whatsoever..so it's possible not to have pain and the bleeding is worst than a normal period..

I m/c on 6th June at 7wks 2 days. Had no follow up appointments, they said there was no need. Only bled for about a week all in all, bleeding stopped by the 16th June. On about 9th July started spotting pink (on the tp) only lasted one evening if that, then nothing. Then again on the 15th July, same as before. Yesterday after getting jiggy with dp I went for a shower. As I was getting dried I noticed some red down my leg, not much. I went to the loo, it seemed like a very light af. I thought af had finally arrived 6 1/2 weeks after m/c. But today no bleeding again  . I did a hpt yesterday morning, seemed negative at first glance but then thought I could see a very very very very faint line when I looked at it in the sunlight. Not sure if it was eyes playing tricks on me or not. I was very regular before the pregnancy and now I dont have a clue whats going on. I'm going to be doing another hpt Weds or Thursday and call the docs inbetween to see whats going on. This whole thing is confusing the hell out of me now   Just to rub more salt into the wounds my midwife rang me today to arrange my booking in appointment   the hospital hadn't passed on my notes and she didnt know I'd m/c.
