My CDH baby Dima

Hi everybody!

Im sorry that I sort of dissapeared. Dima is doing real good. He is still in the hospital though. He is gaining weight and is off oxygen and is doing real good. He is 9lbs now. HIs only trouble is he just cant eat. His esphopgeal sphynxter is just open and the pyloric sphxter ( goes into the intestines) is just open. So he needs another surgery to wrap is stomach around so that that top one will close and the bottem one ( because of the pressure evening out) should open. He will also get a G-tube which is a long lasting feeling tube that goes into his tummy that really isent a big deal. He can even come home with it. :-))) So they told me after this surgery is over if everything goes well he should be home in about three weeks! Im very exited becuase this has been a LONNNNG haul. BUt he is so strong and has done amazing! Thank you for all the prayers! IM sure they helped a lot! :-)))

Wow its has been awhile!!! Im glad hes doing better! wow 9lbs!!! thats great!!! I hope the surgery goes well!

the surgery went well, everything isgoing good, they havent tried to feed him yet though
