Babyshower

Just out of curiosity, i was wondering what month where you when you had your babyshower, or going to have your baby shower, in? All of my sisters had theirs at the end of their 8th. Thats pretty normal, right? Some other people i knew, had theirs like a month after they found out the sex of their baby. Does it really matter what month you have it? Just wondering  

im having mine in august ill be 8 months.

then my mom is throwing me one after the baby is born!

apparently its like some old wives tale that its bad luck to buy things or recieve things before your 7th month. personally i think its BS haha.. i had one planned for next week and i would be 7 months .. that one got cancelled so the next one ill be 8 months!!
i think your right its more common to have it in your 8th month ...

Well mine is August 8th & I am due Sept 18th ... I think that is a good time to have it .

im having mine in october and im due in december.

Mine is scheduled for September because of family conflicts for October and November. I'm kind of glad it is early though because it will give me extra time to put together the nursey (just hope I'm not jinxying anything though).

I would like to have mine around 34-35 weeks which basically is the 8th month.

I was planning mine to be in aug,She came early but we are still having both in augest. One on the 9th and the other one im not sure of the date yet.

I'm 19 weeks, so in a week i'll be 5 months, lol... I find out the sex in 8 days, and plan on planning my shower immediately after, probably sometime in August..

i have one this weekend, one in august and one in september. Friends, family and work baby shower..

I had mine on June 21st and I am due July 26th so I had mine at 8 months. I don't know the gender so everyone wanted me to have it after the baby was born but I wanted it before!  

I had mine on April 26 and my due date (also the day my son was born) was May 19th.

Yeah i've heard that too. lol That is really unique though, to have one after the baby is born. Good luck to you, hope everything goes well with both! lol Are you having a boy or a girl??

My moms having 1 for me September 6th, I think ill have just turned 8 months. And my boyfriends mom is supose to have 1 for me sometime in August, ill be around 7 months.

ive never had one but i guess this time i get one but the only problem is i want it like in jan due to not being due until feb but they are having it in nov why i dont get it

I dont think it really matters on what month you having a baby shower, i am 38 weeks on my last month and am having it this saturday which i cant wait hopefully is going to be lots of fun.
am praying she doesnt want to pop then and now =]
