red hot legs?

connor was sittin in his swing and started to get real fussy so i went over to get him and both his legs are real bright red blotchy and real warm... im gonna call the on call pediatrician but any you other moms go thru this?

food allergy??

Yeah, sometimes only the extremities (arms and legs) can be affected by things. Is he running a fever?

Is he on antibiotics?

i hope hes ok!! im concerned...

well i took him to the ER because he turned real pale ( like he did in the NICU before they had to give him blood) and then his eyes started acting weird(they do that smetimes anyways) so i took him to the ER., they said" yup hes allergic to somsething but i have no idea what".... i think its his allergy...even tho he is 7 months old i was told by quite a few doctors you can develop an allergy to something at anytime... just pissed me off they wouldn't test for it. im going to talk to his cardiologist today because by the time we got there the rash was all over his body, on his balls,his back, his face...and they didn't even give him benedryl or anything... I HATE PORTSMOUTH!..im gonna ask if i can change his formula.. id loive to breast feed him im gonna ask about that too, maybe dr car can prescribe me something to help my supply. I will kaep you ladies updated

They didn't give him anything? Wow. Do you have an allergist in your area where he can be tested? My daughter was tested Before her first birthday, maybe at 9 months? I can't remember.

i asked his cardiologist and his pediatrician today. im going to change his formula and see if htat helps, they said that the amount of blood needed for allergy testin is ALOT and they want to wait till hes older..even tho hes 7 days away from being 8 months old... on a lighter note.. they said we might start weaning his heart medicine in november when hes a year old!

They did the prick test with my daughter. That'd be great if he could get off so meds!

Wow, I cant believe they didnt give him anything! Im sorry you have to go through all that. Yeah, I had the prick-test done when I was very young too. Hopefully you get more answers with your cardiologist.
