re: july moms how are you all doing

Im doing good. I'm 2 centimeters dilated im not sure how effaced i'am, the doctor just said that i was thinning out greatly. and the baby's head is very low, i can't even pee right anymore, i have to lean back and forth for me to able to just go pee. But i did loose part of my mucus plug last night and more this morning, and i been having contractions off and on since last night. So im hoping labor is just around the corner 

I'm doing good, went to the doctor yesterday(07/15).......No progress!!! So he scheduled me to get induced Sunday at Midnight, if he dont decide to come before! I've been having some contractions but nothing major or to serious to stress about!!! I'm just glad I have a set date to look forward too!! I cant wait to hold my lil man in my arms!!! Seems like the longest 9 months EVER!!!! *LOTS and LOTS* of labor dust to all of you July mommies!!!! Soon we will all be holding our babies and posting pictures of them!!! Cant wait to see all the July babies!!!!

this may be a stupid question, but my doctor won't induce until atleast a week after my due date, and if that happens i won't be able to make it to my best friend's wedding.. and i'm her maid of honor.. do you think the doc would have any sympathy if i told her that i realllyyyyy don't want to wait that long? i know it may seem kind of selfish to want to be induced like a week earlier but i've been meausuring 4-5 weeks bigger for a long time now and they haven't changed my due date so i feel like i'm already overdue! (i'll be 39 weeks tomorrow)

I would atleast ask,it doesn't hurt!! I personally don't think they will for that reason!! But just ask!!

I am 3 centimeters dialated and everytime I ask a question about induction my doctor starts another topic? Why is she so hesistant... I feel like I will never get induced and I dont wanna go into augest omgoodness its too hot now let alone august

yeah i didn't think so either.. it's just so frustrating i've been helping plan this wedding for two years and now i might not be able to even go

Maybe she thinks your going to have your baby before your due date. yesterday when i went to the doctors i asked her if i should schedule another appointment for or after my due date. and she told me if i wanted to i could, but she said she didn't think it was necessary at all.

O ok well labor dust to you lets hope both our doctors are right... I am so ready!

Horrible...I went to the dr.'s appt. yesterday 7/16,he said my cervix is still closed;im 70% effaced; on top of that lil homie here is in a posterior position and he's might be overdue!!! i thought him being the 3rd child he might come soon guess not.  

i'm being induced as we speak.. ill update more later  

I had my baby on Thursday July 17th. he was due the 21st. He weighed 6 lbs .059oz and was 18 inches long. he was born at 5:02pm. we named him zachary aiden cortez. he is the most beautiful and healthy baby i have ever seen. me and my husband love him so much. our baby is definitely the greatest blessing we have ever received. Were extremely happy and proud parents.   i will post pics up soon 

Labor dust to all of you July mommas that are left 

Riley Scott Chamberlain was born 5 days early on Saturday, July 19th at 5:06 a.m. after a 36 hour induction (because of hypertension) and 5 1/2 hours of pushing!  

He was as healthy as ever, 8 lbs 9 oz. & 21 inches long! I won't lie, labor was absolutely the worst experience i've ever gone through but it's true what they say, it was worth every second.. our little man is perfect!

I went into labor wednesday night,toughed it out for 3 hrs and went to the hospital.13hrs later Gabriella Faith Kosky arrived 8lbs 19 1/2 inches full head of black hair.Will post labor story later,still in lots of pain and need to rest.I tore pretty bad and had about 4-5stiches i think it was.Def worth it though
