Travel Systems

posted 15th Jul
So my ex-step Grandparents (long story) are very generous people. My dad recently let them know that my husband and I needed a Travel System for the new baby (the last stroller we had was crap...no wonder it was used). We wanted something that will last a long time, Strollers are not cheap and we felt the best way to go was a Travel System. So we registered for the one we orginally wanted. It is a little over $200. So she sent us up a check for $200. Very nice of her. We like a lot of people don't have extra money to fling on little extras if we can find one cheaper that does the same thing. So I am wondering if any of you have one of these two Travel Systems and you can give me your opinion. We've read the reviews...but I want more opinions.

That's the one we registered for...

A good friend of mine has the Evenflo Aura Elite(the second link)and she hates it!She told me that the car seat is too hard, started falling apart in less than 3 months, the fabric fadded (doesn't know how)and the stroller weighs a ton. That's only review I've heard of that travel system.

I have this one and I love it! The only problem is that it's big so you need to make sure it will fit in your car BEFORE you buy it! Unlike me - LOL  It doesn't fit in my trunk so it's in my hubbys Jeep. There are a lot of storage compartments which I love!

I have a graco, neither one of those but I love my graco stroller. I have the pooh travel system. The pattern also comes in the double stroller and will accept my car seat so that is the one I will be getting when this baby gets here. I love my graco stroller!

Get the Graco. Stay away from evenflos. The Graco you picked is really nice. The car seat goes to 30 lbs instead of 22 lbs like other car seats so it will last you longer.
