I took the mini pill while breast feeding

I got pregnant on a mini pill so i DO NOT recommend them. and a LOT of people on here did. I had mirena and loved the heck out of it.

time for me to feel like an idiot...whats the mini pill? and how safe/effective is it?? I have an appointment tomorrow and I wanna be prepared...

Did you take it the same time everyday?

I was religious about it. You'll find all kinds of stories of people getting pregnant while on it on this website and many others.

Mirena. I didn't trust the mini-pill (well, I don't trust myself to take it at the exact same time every day) and I didn't want to be stuck with condoms.

I got pregnant on regular BC already. We still use a back up method with the mini pill though. I don't trust anything.

After this baby i am going on mirena out of sight out of mind. I always forget pills here and there.

Did you take it while breastfeeding? I also take the mini pill. I had a lot of irregular bleeding for the first 2 months with it.
