Loose belly skin help!

posted 15th Jul
Okay so I know I've posted things about this before but my stomach has improved sooo much since I had my daughter 8 weeks ago. It kind of seems like now I'm at a point where it's staying the same. Everyone says there's nothing you can do for loose skin besides a tummy tuck but is there anyone whos had success getting rid of it? I work out about an hour to an hour and a half 5 days a week, watch everything I eat and am religous with my lotion. Please tell me theres some success stories...I know it will take time for my skin to tighten but I'm only 20 so hopefully it will.

Out of curiousity, did you have a c-section or did you have a vaginal birth?
I'm just wondering cause of what people say about c-sections and having extra skin or a pouch.

LOTS OF WATER helps with the elasticity of your skin

i think it will tone up with time...but pry never be super smooth again.

My mil was telling my husband about these belt things....Like girdles or something...They're supposed to tighten your skin after having a baby.

my cousin was going to do that and her dr freaked out. he said that using them so soon after delivery makes your muscles weaker because they dont get a chance to get stronger. the girdle will hold the skin in, but it doesnt work your muscles out the way they need to. your abs are seperated during pregnancy, and they need to heal back up.
thats just her drs position

It goes back. Really the only other thing you can do besides situps is just wait. Trust me it gets tight again.   We'll be hot mama's again soon!!

Give it some more time, you're still only 8 weeks pp.

I agree, give it time....everyone is different, some people bounce back practically overnight and others take 6 months to 1 year to get back where they want to be. Sounds to me like you are doing all the right stuff so just keep it up and give it time. Also remember we are the hardest on ourselves so though you may not see what you want to see odds are others envy you. I know I still have a long way to go myself.

haha, I've never heard of this? I don't know about making my ass smaller, but I'd love to shrink my thighs!
