We were a wreck! Gio was so squirmy, because of all the excitement plus he was teething hardcore!

It wasn't toobad. He is very well behaved, but when he's teething he can be a bit cranky. He was just a little overwhelmed from the excitement. Everyone wanted to hold him and mess with him.
I would say do it asap. Between 1-3 months is a good age. We had to wait for family to be able to come down.
