Pregnant.....Again. Help!

Ok, so my son is 6 months old today! And yesterday I found out that I am pregnant again. I'm so baffled because my husband and I used protection everytime. I guess I'm part of the 1% chance. That being said.....I don't know what to do. I have so many questions, and if anyone could answer even one that would be great.

Stretch marks: I will admit I was lazy with my 1st child and didn't use Palmer's or anything. So, did most of you mothers get MORE stretch marks with your 2nd babies or did the count pretty mnuch stay the same?

Home birthing: so I had my son in the hospital since he was my first. But now that this is so unexpected, I don't know if I can pay for it again. I heard home birthing is cheaper, but is it ok for my second child and did you mommies like it if you did it?

Baby weight: I still haven't lost the tummy weight from my first, but I've been doing vigorous abdominal exercises for about 2-3 weeks straight. Is it ok to continue because I'm still in the early stages of pregnancy or what?



That's all I can think of for now. I go to the doctor to find out my due date in an hour or so. (so far I've only taken a home pregnancy test). Wish me luck.

i got some stretchies with my first baby...my second pregnancy i didnt gain as much as i had gained with my first so needless to say i didnt get any more new ones.

My daughter is six months old as well and I'm knocked up too! yay!

Oh yes I really know how you feel, I just found out I am pregnant again and my son will be 1 next month. And I was not prepared for this lol.

But for the stretch marks, I got them with my second child.

I am not sure about home births but I would love have a water birth.

Same happened here, my daughter was 6 months when I found out that I was pregnant. Was on the pill and everything (i want my money back lol).

Stretch marks: do get worse with multiple pregnancies, my poor stomache looks like a geographical map now (even with coco butter).

Loose tummy muscles: its not healthy for the baby for you to try and get your belly tight now.

Home birth: Im not sure if its cheaper. sure theres prolly pro's and cons to it but id look into a midwife clinic (or something similar) instead of just opting for home. (im one of those that beleive "anything that can go wrong...will")

Baby Blues: you havent really gotten out of the way of possible PPD and now jumping back on the hormone rollercoaster is going to have your emotions upside down....be careful.

I am in that boat too lol. My little girl will be 6 month old on the 23rd of this month and I am 5 weeks pregnant now. I am not sure how things will be because my other ones were pretty far apart. Good luck though

I had a friend who's twins just turned 6 months when she found out she was about 9 weeks prego again. good luck. It will be an experiance

jeez whats up with babies being 6 months old and then getting pregnant again? I'm having no sex next month(my daughter will be six months old)  

six months seems to be the magic number, huh! lol

Thanks for all your help girls, by the way I just came back from the doc and my due date is (approximately) March 13th! I also just discussed it with my husband and we decided thatthe gender isgoing to be a surprise to me! But he wants to know, and he's going to arrange the baby shower and stuff so that everyone knows what gender stuff to get me but i don't get to open the presents until after the baby is born. I hope it all works out. has anybody done anything similar to this? I would like to know how it worked out.
