changing doctors

I'm 14 weeks and considering changing midwives. I like my midwife, the hospital is the problem. The hospital is far. Not to mention my dr. office has an office at the hospital. I have to go to that location each time I have to get an ultrasound. Which is monthly. I have a shortened cervix, so my midwife wants to monitor it. Has anyone changed doctors during their pregnancy.? If so did they redo you pap smear and lab work or were they able to use info from your previous doctor?

I switched the day before my due date and they just used all my medical records from my previous doctor... but seeing as how you are high risk i would discuss it seriously with your doctor...

Im changing my doctors. I dont know if you have to redo your pap they just told me to sign a release so they can get my records
