when to pack?

When did you, or when will you pack your hospital bag?

I packed mine at 36 weeks only because i was bored and got super motivated that day

I'm 34 weeks and still haven't packed. I'll probably pack after the first weekend in august. I'll be 37 1/2 weeks. Thats after my baby showers and I need dude to hang in until I get everything, so. . .

I packed mine at 35/36 weeks just b/c the dr said she would be here early... lil booger was a wk and a day late!! It was nice to have it done though b/c with my first I didnt pack at all. I figured Id just do it before I went to the hosp ( stupid idea for me) and ended up going with nothing!! It sucked!! I say the sooner the better b/c then you can add to it if you think of other things you may need/want. 

I was planning on packing mine somewhere between 31 and 33 weeks.

maxi pads
call list
cameras
massage lotions
toiletries (for you and hubby)
nursing bra
going home clothes for you and the baby, and hubby
paci
recieving blankets
thick blanket for baby for comming home (depending on the season)
snacks
boppy if you're breastfeeding
*IMPORTANT*
identification card
insurance card
advanced directive (if you have one)
name of your pedi
Informed concents
baby bood
CARSEAT (they WILL NOT allow you to leave without one)

I packed at 39 weeks 4 days. (The day before I went into labor) LOL
I was a TERRIBLE procrastinator then. But I knew what all I was gonna take and had a pretty good list made out and some stuff set out already. I wasn't really that bad to wait, as long as you know everything you're gonna take. I not saying waiting that long to go shopping or anything. But doing something like that while in beginning stages could get you up and moving and your mind somewhat off the pain. It did me but I had a pretty easy labor. (Thankfully!  )

that's basically what I've done, just made a list. that was if something happens, my husband will have the list and know EXACTLY what I want to bring. He can have it all packed and brought to the hospital well before I even break a sweat...LOL. That way I don't have to stress if I do go before I have everything ready.

LOL. No, it's really not. The hospital probibly has alot of that stuff ( mine does) I just prefer the comforts of home.

my hospital told me just to bring PJs ,robe , and home things that make u compy a extra pillow with a colored case travelsize shampoo, conditioner,toothpate, toothbrush. they supply us with padded mess underware and everything else u need and for the baby just clothes to take the baby home in and A CARSEAT IS A MUST

before seeing your post i didnt even think of pack ing i knew to take his carseat and him some clothes but i forgot about me and my hubby.
