Do any of you know how...

The doctors soften your cervix? I went to the doctor today, and they said they are still planning on inducing me on the 25th BUT before they start the induction they will have to soften my cervvix if they dont on their own by then. ( I am not dialating and my cervix are not soft at all) I didnt see my reg. doctor so this doctor didnt tell me much about the procedure.
So all I know right now is on the 25th they will bring me in, do something to soften my cervix, give me poticin after they soften, then if they have to break my water.
Why is my baby being stubborn now!? She wanted to come out at 32 weeks, but now she is not wanting to come out at all!

Mine put a little tiny pill up there called cytotec...

They can also do it by gel as well.

with me they stuck the stuff up there and it was supposed to take 12 hours then they were going to start the pitocin but by the 10th hour with the stuff i started to get contractions and then my water broke i got my epi and then i started to push by the 12th hour my son was born!!!

The little pill thingy only took 3 hours...

WowI hope my labor ends up like that!
