Tell her that where you are delivering they only allow two people in the room. If my mom can make it down in here in time she MIGHT be in the room with me, but I think I want it to just be me and my husband. We were the only ones there when he was created, I think I only want it to be us (other than dr.s of course) there when he comes into the world.

I had my grandma, as she was an OB/GYN nurse for 40+ years. If my mom lived here, I would have had her in there as well. My dad and sisters stayed in the hall while I was in the late stage of labor/pushing. But I do agree, by the time that you're pushing, you won't care who sees you, it could be Johnny Depp even, you just want the baby out NOW.

With Xavier, I just wanted my boyfriend in there with me. My aunt, grandma, my mom and Rob were in there. Everyone kept talking to me while I was pushing and I just wanted them to shut the fuck up! I could care less that they were seeing me give birth, it was the fact that they were being annoying about it, mainly my mom. The doctor and nurses could tell I was getting pissed so they asked everyone but Robto leave. Of course my mother refused just like when I gave birth to my daughter. I asked her to leave the room untilKhayla was born, but she managed togetback in. I would just tell her that you're only allowed to have so many people in there or ask one of the nurses to tell her so you don't have to.

I had my ex in the room with me. He was the BF at the time. I didn't want him there, my mom just so happened to be out of town when I went into labor.

Next time around I plan on having my mom & my boyfriend.

thats how i was, i didnt have an epi, and by the end of it, i didnt care if they left the door open for everyone to see!

Wow, your room must have been huge in order to fit that many people, not including the bed, the baby warmer, all of the nurses and dr. among room for other things.

I was the same way.
But trust me, you won't care.
You'll be in so much pain that people looking at your hoo-ha will be the last thing on your mind.

i could only have two people in my room at a time. up until i actually delivered ; my dad, mom, & close friend all rotated coming in. my husband was always in the room.

when i delivered, it was my husband and my mama.

During my pregnancy, I was terrified of poopin on the delivery table in front of everyone. When the time comes, you don't give a shitwho sees what!
